I read the first four pages of one and didn't like it so never read another. I just didn't like the way it was written and it didn't grab me in. I may give them another chance one day. My LLs are reading them but actually have difficulty holding them as they are so bloody big. I have all the movies though :)
I had to go out on Sunday for a family function, and thought the roads would be empty.
All the way from outer-bogansville to Aldgate there were IDIOTS on the roads, and there was me, Mr Dump, doing a Jeremy Clarkson and shouting "get out of may way you nincompoops, why are you here? You should be HOME READING HARRY POTTER. Now get out of my way!!!!"
:) Actually I was warning Scorpy to get out of the way of the stampeding Mugglenetters (I am not one of them).
I, too, need to discuss but I think it's polite to wait more than three days. Besides, I'm re-reading at a more leisurely pace now that the race against idiots is won.

Ooh...*winces*
Humour the fans, or they will attack.
:) No really, I'm not a dressing-up name-creating weirdo.
Apologies to all the dressing-up, name-creating people out there...
;p
I still don't have my book !! my husband said he pre-booked it on Amazon but failed to mention that he hadn't actually paid for it ! WHAT WHAT WHAT ??
No Red, wrong.
The burbs are not quiet with Potter-ites.

It didn't work.
Can we start talking about it yet?
I'm pleased that someone has told me the ending. I don't have to worry about reading it until I'm next on a beach vacation now.
Anyone want to know what happens?
scorpy, horses for courses, old sport :) She'll never be a Nobel laureate, but she's made lots of kids happy and made a hell of a lot of cash.
lonie, don't worry - I was counting myself in the big kids' list.
sakura, that was helpful of him. Bloody boys.
ashleigh, perhaps they'd just shut their kids in and gone out in the knowledge that they wouldn't move for four or five hours?
nai, I reckon so.
rabbit, ooh, I'd have bitchslapped that person into the middle of next week!
Yes, what is the statute of limitations to start talking about HP on blogs all spoilery like....?
Cause I need to share and if I don't, I will bust.

I read it and loved it.
My girl is reading now too. It's great. It's like she's little all over again.
Do your homework, hope into your Pj's and read in bed, after dinner.
HURRAH!
I don't share your mild obsession. I'm still convinced JK Rowling ripped off Terry Pratchett, only she forgot to make it funny.
*Yawns with bookish snobbery*
My sister read the whole thing on Saturday.
I don't know how we're related. ;)
I'm not reading it.
But I'm quiet too because every one else is, and now I have no one to talk to.
WAAAARRRRHHHHH. etc.
